TPS Approval for Venezuelan National

The firm recently received an approval of Temporary Protected Status for a Venezuelan national. Congratulations to our client!

Our client had lived under temporary student and work visas in Colombia for nearly seven years before coming to the U.S. on a tourist visa, shortly before the second designation of TPS for Venezuelans was announced. We argued that the firm resettlement bar did not apply despite her lengthy residence in Colombia because she was never able to pursue any form of permanent immigration status and the living conditions were very restrictive towards her due to her Venezuelan nationality. The USCIS agreed and approved her TPS application.

While I focus on immigration solutions for artists, I have over a decade of experience in all areas of immigration law and continue to handle various humanitarian immigration matters, including but not limited to temporary protected status (TPS), deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA), visas for crime victims (U visas), and visas for abused spouses (VAWA). Don’t hesitate to reach out for a comprehensive consultation. You can email me at amir@rasoulpourlaw.com.
