O-1B Approval for Fashion Designer from India
We received an an O-1B extraordinary ability visa approval for a Fashion Designer from India. Congratulations to our client!
Our client came to us towards the end of his OPT period. He had received a job offer from a distinguished fashion house in New York City, but he also wanted to have the flexibility to continue part-time work with another fashion house and to develop his own line. We submitted the O-1B as an agent petition, where all of his employers (including his own fashion company) authorized the agent to submit the O-1B petition on their behalf. Because of this agent structure, he was able to continue his multiple projects in fashion, and take on other projects in fashion as they arise without having to notify the USCIS, during the approved O-1B period. The petition was approved without a request for evidence.
If you are a fashion designer and are looking to continue working in the United States, do not hesitate to contact me for a consultation to discuss the O-1 visa in more detail. I can be reached at amir@rasoulpourlaw.com.
