Spousal Green Card Approval for Graphic Designer from Peru

We recently received an approval for a spousal based green card for a Graphic Designer from Peru. Congratulations to our client!

Our client had entered the United States approximately 20 years ago as a tourist and had overstayed his visa. He recently married a US citizen, and based on this marriage to a citizen and him having been lawfully admitted when he first came to the United States, his immigration violations of unlawful presence and working without authorization were automatically forgiven (waived) by law & he adjusted status to lawful permanent resident. The application was approved without an interview. Furthermore, like so many other undocumented immigrants, our client had been paying taxes for his work as a graphic designer with an individual tax ID number (ITIN) for nearly two decades. Now that he has obtained lawful permanent residence and a social security number, those reported ITIN earnings may now be counted towards his future social security benefits.

I have many years of experience representing individuals in all kinds of family based immigration relief. Don’t hesitate to contact me for a consultation at amir@rasoulpourlaw.com.
