O-1B Approval for Shoot Producer from United Kingdom

We received an approval for an O-1B visa for a Shoot Producer from the United Kingdom. Congratulations to our client!

Our client had worked as a shoot producer for several U.K. and Canadian brands & also worked as a freelance shoot producer. Although she had a full-time job offer, she also wanted to continue having the ability to take on part-time freelance gigs as a shoot producer. The petition was submitted as an agent petition where our client’s full-time employer and another part-time employer authorized her U.S. agent to file the petition on their behalf. Because of this structure, our client can take on additional freelance gigs as a shoot producer as they arise without the agent having to notify the Immigration Services.

The O-1 visa is one of the most flexible immigration work visas and can be structured in ways that permit traditionally self-employed individuals take on gigs through an agent petitioner structure. Feel free to reach out to schedule a consultation at amir@rasoulpourlaw.com.
